It was a nail biting experience to watch the match and…it was a victory! How did they win?
By just believing that the batsman would do and yes. He won by believing he could do it.
Hearing such stories gives us inspiration….how many of us have come in that situation of being the only one to do a dreaded task and complete in a short time?
How many of us come in that tip of our stressed minds as to ask ourselves "can we do it? How will we do it?" we end up being panic and fall short of motivation at this crucial time. We would want a sort of "last minute miracle "to makes things go "right".
The answer…. lies in believing. Believing, Infact is a step taken by faith itself to elevate our spirits to praise God and make us more firm in His Word. When He says us to bring all our burdens and give unto Him and He will give us rest.
Matthew 11:28 NIV
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
We believe what the Lord said and come to Him…not today you believe and tomorrow you take on your burdens again….believing is a one time process that once you believe that it is, then you are firm on your decisions.
The disciples questioned Jesus their ability of feeding the multitude of 4000.
Matthew 15 NIV
They were all in panic when they saw the multitude and asked Him, just when they knew. He turned water to wine at a wedding.

They know, he did it but, What made them ask him at this crucial time? It was fear that made them ask Him.
It is in believing that we are saved, it is in believing that we receive fully, It is believing, That we find joy in God as “He is the rewarder of those who seek Him”.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must
believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
it is in believing that miracles happen and it is in believing that we grow stronger in Him everyday.
Every children of God is special to Him, we need to believe every moment that we are doing His work even though we may seem in "trouble"; for He is the Light and His Light never fades. When we have God in our boat, it does not mean that the boat will sink; but we believe that no storm will sink our boat. Jesus is good all the time, stop thinking and start believing! |
